NALA

Wow did Nala find the best home in the world!

She flew calmly and quietly in her little carryon doggie designer bad on Denise's lap.  She also loved the view:

Joyce and Patrick were so excited and made a sign "Denise & Nala" waiting for us at the airport.  The 2 hour drive up to their beautiful retirement/dog friendly town was beautiful.

This beautiful place outside of Seattle gets less rain than Seattle, and is like forests, coastline of California.

Nala took to Joyce right away and never tried to bite her. That says a lot!! She felt comfortable with her and safe right away!  Her new town is a very dog friendly town, and Joyce will put our cards all over town since small dogs cannot be found in shelters and rescues there.

Wow what a beautiful house and view!  No children, or grandchildren, just two loving retired parents, and loving pampered sister Maltese.

Nala made herself at home on the couch, with Holly and her toys, and on the bed with Mom and sisters.

She ate her hypoallergenic diet.

Drove with Mom & Dad back to airport to say Goodbye, but was too tuckered from this exciting trip and fell asleep on mom's lap.  She later curled up in mom's arms

Thank you Joyce and Patrick for a wonderful trip, and giving Nala the best home I could find for her.  I wish I could find homes like you for all of our rescues!!

Hello Denise,  just looked at the pictures and they are great.  I even
took a half decent picture.  We went out today and bought tags for all
the girls  and will be putting them on tonight.  Everyone is getting
alone just fine, Nala slept on that big bed last night right behind her
Daddy's knees.  We are all very tired from that last two days I think
tomorrow we will just lay around together and get to know each other.
I;m sure you must be zapped too so I hope you have a chance to rest.  I
will be sending you some real state books soon.  In about two weeks I
will contact Trudy and tell her about you and maybe she will get in
contact with you.  She and her husband are very nice and they have four
dogs and one foster.   Will e-mail more tomorrow.  Joyce
