Bay Area Trip 2003
Moose and Rio are adorable "purebred" Pommeranians. Moose is under 3 years old and was bought from a woman who had a litter from her Pommeranians. He was only 4 weeks old and had to be bottle fed. Moose is more calm, loves being held, brushed and gives you kisses. No kids please. He needs a loving retired person who would love such a calm loving dog. (Adoption perfect with Andrea in Sausilito) THank you Andrea for posting our pets for adoption in your area at Dog Parks, Veterinary Clinics, etc. Thank you for letting your Veterinarian know about our program. (Rio was adopted too see following pages)
Moose is a little more shy but plays and enjoys being held. They both have been left alone a lot lately since dad is busy raising his son and working. Moose loves to kiss, be held and petted, and have his fur brushed.. An Adult home with no young children please.
EYECES is an adorable 4 mos. M. Blue eyed little lover. He is a Siamese mix kitten. Totally indoor and litter trained. He loves other cats and small dogs. thanks Angela for adopting him in San Francisco and being so careful with him not to let him out in the big city by the Bay.
HADDIE 2 yr. S.F.Purebred Rat Terrier
Grandma Shirley just passed away and grandpa cannot keep her. Shirley loved coming to our Clicker Training Class for 6 months to teach her tricks with hoop/ball and gave her so much confidence. She lived with a Boston Terrier. She is affraid of men, and prefers to be with a woman who is alone or with an older daughter. She is so cute when she plays with other small dogs. Thanks Kathy in San Rafael, CA for taking her in.

Mr. Peabody 7 week old Orange Striped is really a fighter to survive. He is completely over his cold and doing great. He is loving, and playful. He is very healthy and will be neutered. He loves and is fearless when he plays with gentle dogs. Thank you Kathleen and big foster brother K9, and Stephanie for doing all the screening to get him adopted in California, where it is hard to find an orange Tabby we have heard. (Did you know that Orange Tabbies are always male?)(Adopted by a wonderful couple in Bay Area. THanks Stephanie for doing such a great job in the Bay Area.)

AFTER 5 HOMES IN HIS LIFE, HE HAS THE PERFECT HOME WITH THE
SMITHS. THANKS YOU FOR GIVING HIM A WONDERFUL, RESPONSIBLE,

TONS OF ABANDONED WHITE SHEPARDS?Thank you for inviting us into your
home with our dogs, offering to foster a dog and a very enjoyable
afternoon.
We are so thankful that no matter where (Jake) Yukon has been taken, he had an angel watching over him and letting us know somehow that he was safe. The Smith family deserves the 'Angel' of the month award! |
We also have a 2 yr. S.F.
Purebred Malamute sweetheart, smart, housetrained and loves to cuddle and play,

PRINCESS 10 mos. Longhaired Siamese S.F. is the most loving, purring little cat. Indoor only, no kids. We were so thrilled to deliver to her new home in New Hampshire with Pretty Kitty. |
Stewart's new family not only took our 6 week training which he excelled at, but took the therapy dog test and passed. He is not only picking up the kids from school with mom, sleeping on his little girl's bed every night, but visiting kids in the hospital. And to think that his original owner threw him away at 3 years old after he spent 3 years abandonned in his dog run year-round, and called us to take him after he no longer could stud him out to breed. (He had the dullest coat and seizures when he was given to us by his owner, and with his new loving family that keeps him indoors, he has had absolutely no seizures and is shiny and healthy). |

What is Save A Dog & Kids Program about? PAWSITIVE PRAISE FOR PEACE! Were you aware that donations for Charity and Youth Programs in 2002/2003 are so low that not only food, clothes and necessities are needed, but all After School Programs for Homeless and Under-priviledged kids have been cut. Federal research on Anti-gang, Anti-drugs, Anti-violence and Anti-juvenile delinquency states that the most successful deterants are After School Programs with positive activities for kids. Kids commit most of the crimes during the hours after school. Help us bring positive activities to the underpriviledged kids Youth Programs,YMCA After School Programs, Youth Detention Centers and other youth facilities all over the US.

A HUMANE EDUCATION TODAY, YIELDS A MORE COMPASSIONATE SOCIETY TOMORROW In our program kids learn compassion, responsibility and service through helping train and care for homeless puppies. They learn the benefits of positive praise and the rewarding satisfaction of training a helpless puppy. They gain confidence, self esteem and many more values that will help them in their lives. What a perfect match: Kids and Dogs! Donations, volunteers and sponsors are desperately needed. |
