ROSCO
Just wanted to let you know that Rosco is doing really well and is happier then ever. Here's a pic with him lounging with his best buddy Mookie!
Happy New Year!
-Micke & Rosco"
ROSCO, A 1 YR. OLD CHIHUAHUA, who loves to watch Animal Planet, came from Georgia Bartow Animal Shelter where Dorothy which cares so much about these angels works so hard to save the hundreds that come in each week. 100 dogs need rescue today, and rescues all over are working together with local rescuers to pull and transport as many as possible every week before they are put down on Tuesday ams.. A little Border Collie puppy has no where to go this am, and might need to be put down because there is no room in the inn, even though Dorothy and her caring staff would rather they were rescued. They had Basenjis, Jack Russell Terriers, and many more puppies. That Atlanta shelter needs volunteers to come help take pics and post these dogs daily on the Petfinder website.
tHANK YOU Dawn, Robyn, and Vena at BARK AVENUE PET RESORT for taking such great care of Rosco and welcoming me so warmly.
This special little boy is looking for a guardian angel who can love him w/ an injured eye that has healed up beautifully. That person needs a large heart to look past his injury and give him another chance in life. This affectionate Chihuahua is about 1 yr old and weighs less then 10 lbs. Thank you Atlanta Small Animal Clinic for treating his eye and trying to save it. Thank your Dorothy for caring for him and being so wonderful to work with. Thank you Dawn of Animal Shelter Reform for driving out to pick him up, and having your mother Jan fostering him and taking him to the vet for us until we meet to pick him up. Thank you Vena and Barbara of Bark Avenue Hotel in Atlanta for helping him too. You are Angels. Costs to date are $138 plus $89 while in Atlanta. He is healing beautifully and his eye was saved, and he is now neutered. Total $300 in vet costs. Donations are being taken and appreciated. HOw wonderful to meet you Vena and your great staff. Rosco's eye is doing better and he is such a little loving and fun little guy. He weighs so little and is great to travel on the plane with. He is so loving with dogs, cats and everyone, and is very smart and learning his housetraining, to only chew dog toys, and how to be a great pet. HOw could you not love this little guy? Well Micke in San Francisco could not resist doing all he could do to prove that he could give Rosco the best home. We can't wait to fly to SF with Rosco to his new dad.
I did get your call this week and am glad you received the application. How's Rosco doing? I'm currently making him some purchases that will spoil him rotten upon his arrrival! Micke
"I sit on the Board of Directors here at T. Street Lofts, and as long as Micke adheres to these guidelines, there is absolutely no problem with Micke adopting a dog. Many homewoners have pets, and knowing Micke, he will be a great dog owner/parent"
" Micke is a responsible dedicated employee. I confirm that he is a person of integrity and is dedicated to his family and work. I can't see why he wouldn't make a wonderful owner for Rosco..."
Rosco will live in a new 2000 sq.ft. loft, go to a wonderful positive reinforcement training course with other puppies, visit dog parks for little dogs and be very spoiled.
ROSCO'S trip to San Francisco was just wonderful and he has 3 loving parents that will spoil him and take excellent care of him. Micke has found a wonderful positive trainer and a small dog park group he can take Rosco to. He is safe and loved. Thanks Micke for such a wonderful visit with you and the great Vietnamese lunch along with our wonderful friend April in the city.
Micke and Qui live in a wonderful loft they purchased in the new and up and coming part of SF. Most everyone in the building has a dog and all are safe, walked on leashes at the great dog parks nearby. Angela is a Special Needs Teacher and loves to work with kids and dogs and will just love Rosco too.
