Thank you so much to the 35 members of the
Payson, Utah Orr family for collecting 35 coats, toys, and other
items for the homeless. And Jana McDaniel for making hats. Thank you
also Brittney Naverez for infant clothes for the 150 plus small children
in the Shelter and Utah County families. This year thanks to the
generosity of families like these, many who would freeze and go without
Christmas will get much love from you and your efforts. Thank you
also ANgela of UVRMC REhab department for collecting Sub For Santa items
for one military family with father in
Afghanistan, and
mother who was hospitalized and could not pay the
medical bills.
01/06/10 Update Military Clark family with dad in Afghanistan has
mom going in for ruptured 3 vertebrae surgery today and needs our
prayers. She went in for another surgery, her third time in
Hospital since husband deployed t AFghanistan, 03/08/10

03/25/10 Excelsior Academy Middle School made the most amazing
and very artistic banners to welcome home our soldiers: You pick
the winner: We hope to welcome home the 96th and the 405th ARmy
Reservists with these:
"We are interested in participating in the card and banner
4th of July service project. We are looking for more information
about the project - dates, materials, etc. We have a middle
school class which focuses on service as part of the curriculum.
We use Fridays as our service days. We would love to set up a
time in April for you to come. We have 5 periods of classes
which participate in Synergy Service Fridays.
