ZUZU
5 yr. F Yorkie/Poo
is just an angel. Tiny little girl of about 7 lbs, silver shiny
haired. Housetrainied and learning to trust other dogs. She rode
on my lap on the plane so quietly and did not move. She is
really a special little girl. PENDING:
Joan in Bay ARea and her
husband just lost their Yorkie and are very excited
to adopt ZUZU. (pics of trip to come) 
Zuzu/Nikki
is a veteran flyer with 4 trips under her belt. HEr trip to her new
parents went so well.
She is such a great
companion dog and I konw will put a smile on Tom's face that lost his last YOrki
Nikki.
Peggy picked us up at the
airport and we went shopping at PEtco for a harness, dog tag and rawhide strips
for Nikki. Peggy adopted an Italian Greyhound from a shelter and if anything
happened to her father, she would take in her mother and Zuzu/Nikki. She
will also take her father and Zuzu to obedience class so they can learn together
to always have Zuzu stay at his left side and never leave his side even though
she will always be on a leash.
Boy
was Tom excited to meet Zuzu/Nikki. His wife Joan said that she had not
seen him smile for 3 weeks since they tragically lost their last Yorki that had
been adopted from their local shelter and killed by a neighbor's Pit Bull that
had jumped the fence. Tom has Parkinson's and he needs a little friend to
sit with him all the time, get him out walking with his walker, and just love
him. Zuzu/Nikki did not leave his lap the whole time we were there. They
watched the Baseball game together on TV in the back room. Tom is such a
generous soul.
We can't wait for the
pictures and updates. Thanks April again for picking us up and fostering
Murphy until we could fly back with her. You are such a dear friend.
