READ WHY YOU SHOULD ADOPT A SENIOR PET AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE OF TRAINING & HYPERNESS (We are not just rescuing dogs, but people too who need these little angels to save their lives:
OUR TRAINED DOGS:
BJ, a Pommeranian mix, was found running the streets, after a week in the Utah County Animal Shelter, he was picked up by Denise, he has been neutered, had a complete dental, had his rear dew claws removed since his nails grew into them, was vaccinated, microchipped, and had a limp in his front right leg checked. After we realized he was limping, we had him xrayed and he had to have a wire removed from a prior surgery. Thank you Dr. Taylor of Brookside animal hospital. He is recooperating and using his leg better now. Cocsts to date for dental, surgeries, etc. is $250. He is just running around now, jumping into our laps and so playful and happy. He would be the perfect lap dog for someone home all day with no other dogs. He is great with cats. He loves to be with someone all day. He loves to be carried since He weighs 2/3 of what Fox weighs.
FOX is a 3 yr. Purebred Gorgeous and Loving Pommeranian. He is perfectly housetraining and learning a lot with his foster brothers and sisters. He is wonderful with dogs, cats and people who are gentle. He is the most loving TeddyBear!!! Only experienced with "high expense grooming and maintenance references" retired adult only homes apply.
Minnie & Sammy ARE loving and calm PUREBRED Toy POODLES WHO HAVE HAD EXCELLENT CARE ALL THEIR LIVES UNTIL THEIR OWNER DIED AND WHO NEED TO STAY TOGETHER, NEED REGULAR GROOMING AND ARE HOUSETRAINED, INDOOR ONLY FRAGILE DOGS. POODLE EXPERIENCED HOME ONLY.
Denise,
Thanks for keeping me posted on Sammy and Minnie's progress. Hopefully
the diet will help with their itching problem. I wish I had known more
about what to do for them. Our decision to place the dogs with you has
taken a big worry off of our minds as I'm confident they are in good
hands. Please keep me updated as to their progress as I continue to be
most interested.
Thanks much,
Danny

WHY SO MANY SMALL BREED DOGS ARE NEGLECTED AND THROWN AWAY and why
we are so STRICT!
Here is an example of why you should wait to raise your kids: Dear Miss Rumples, I wanted to tell you one more
time, thank you. I want to share my story with all potential pet owners. Six years ago I was a young executive, engaged to be married, and living the life i wanted. My fiance, at that time, worked crazy hours and was unable to be attentive. I was very lonely and I wanted to love and be loved. Without thought, we adopted a Lhasa apso (my very first dog) from one of his clients. The family had him for six months and told us he was a great dog, but the kids (three of them) were too young to understand animal cruelty. I couldn't understand why a family would give up such a beautiful dog.
Today, I am remarried with a seventeen month old and another on the way. I just assumed my family would grow (Hanna & Boo included) and be more fruitful . It's just not that simple. My seventeen month old has developed allergies to both dogs and will continue to suffer in their presence. As sad as it is, it's the truth. I never had a second thought. My dogs had to go. As a parent, all of my priorities have changed. If I would have thought things through six years ago, maybe my babies (Hannah & Boo) would have found a more consistent home. I can only learn from this experience and pass on my experience to you.

Dog Chihuahua Reminds us of our little Tillie who was running the streets with dead babies in her tummy. The owners and shelter thought she had cancerous tumors and wanted to put her to sleep. Dr. Daines spayed her and found her dead babies just in time to save her life. She was such a little lover. We took care of her for 2 years till she found her loving mom.
Notes: Ellery is an adorable, handsome little guy who weighs 14 pounds. He is approximately 5 years old. When he was 2 years old he was adopted by a family who left him in their backyard for 3 years where he was terribly neglected. Then they brought him to a high kill "shelter". Fortunately, we found him-scared and alone. Today, he is in excellent health and only needs a family and love. Ellery is very affectionate and intelligent. He will make a loyal companion to the special person or family who gives him a second chance at happiness. Ellery is very sweet, loves to be with people and is in urgent need of a home as he is very lonely. To adopt Ellery, please click on Shih Tzu Rescue underneath his picture and complete our online application. If using AOL, please fax your completed application to 954-680-6405.

State Works To Find Owners Of Stolen Dogs
FORSYTH, Mo. -- About 50 dogs have been seized from
the property of a southwest Missouri couple suspected
of stealing the mostly pure-bred animals to resell
them. The dogs were taken from their owners' back
yards and the kennels of breeders. Most are small and
mid-size dogs, including Boston terriers and Shih-Tzus.
The dogs apparently were stolen within the last
several weeks. They appear to be in good health.
Authorities are trying to find the owners. In the
meantime, the dogs are being held at the Taney County
Animal Shelter. The shelter can be reached at (417)
332-0172.

What is Save A Dog & Kids Program about? PAWSITIVE PRAISE FOR PEACE! Were you aware that donations for Charity and Youth Programs in 2002/2003 are so low that not only food, clothes and necessities are needed, but all After School Programs for Homeless and Under-priviledged kids have been cut. Federal research on Anti-gang, Anti-drugs, Anti-violence and Anti-juvenile delinquency states that the most successful deterants are After School Programs with positive activities for kids. Kids commit most of the crimes during the hours after school. Help us bring positive activities to the underpriviledged kids Youth Programs,YMCA After School Programs, Youth Detention Centers and other youth facilities all over the US.
